nz class1 to jaa class 1 medical

hi everybody,

i currently hold a nz class 1 medical ,i cant find any info on the caa website about coverting it to a jaa class 1. if anybody has any information about converting a medical it would be appreciated.
i doubt i would have to do the medical again, maybe i am wrong.

When I came over in 99, there was no transfer of medical.

A new initial issue was required, although I was able to complete that in Auckland.

You'll have to do an issue as opposed to a renewal.

Dr Bill Daniels in Auckland is the only JAA approved examiner in NZ, go see him and he'll sort you out with everything you need to know - it's a damn sight cheaper than doing it at Gatwick on arrival as well.
