Any medics like to comment about pilots having this supplement.

Program last week on the telly BBC 1 [Robert Winston] saying that "brain power" greatly enhanced after three months trails.

Well if it was on the Beeb it has to be true!

Forgotten where I put mine, so they are not working just yet for me!

Reduces the risk of heart disease / stroke also.

As far as I know, omega 3 was used to reduce the cholesterol level of heart attack victims prior to all the fancy drugs we now use.

Those in the know eat their oily fish (sardines on toast) three times a week !

So good, they should put it in the water !

Just as some fish have high levels of PCBs so do some fish oils. Heard this on the radio during the 'health segment'. The show cautioned against taking too much but did not define what that was.

Been taking 2.5g a day of this in vile liquid form for some time and I do believe it works. Best way to approach it is to eat a segment of orange, ram tablespoonful of the nasty muck down the back of your neck, followed swiftly by another orange segment or two.

Nice PDF on dioxin research (http://www.foodstandards.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/fishoil_table.pdf).
