Hi!
With BA CityFlyer Express ditching the LGW - BRE route soon, does anybody know whether any other airlines plan to operate a route from BRE to a London airport? I know there had been rumours of a German low-cost operator such as Germania Express taking over, but has anything actually materialised yet?

Obviously will German OLT fly BRE-LON with Saab 2000.

Is that a fact, a rumour or just a guess? If it's a fact, which LON airport?

Edit: I have just checked the OLT website and discovered that the route commences on 8 November 2003 to LCY.

Until Nov 7, European Air Express into LGW with ATR42-300s (twice daily)

From Nov 8, OLT into LCY with Saab 2000s (twice daily)

Germania Express has postponed the BRE base - from where it was to serve LGW with Fokker 100s - until summer 2004.
