Any one know why the airline will be using the small plane on their new service to Colmbo starting in November, it has a stop in Dubai but would'nt the A332 make more sense to operate this route?

Hi,

Maybe there is not a huge demand for the route.

No big deal really. British Mediterranean Airways flies A320/321s all the way from Heathrow to places like Tashkent, Almaty and Addis Ababa.

Does anyone know what the longest segment (non-ACJ) for the A320 types is? I know AC runs them YUL-LAX (2474 nm) and I believe YVR-MIA (2800 nm).
