Any info. on Dragon if they do long-term contracts (3-5 yrs) or do you have to terminate from your current airline. As posted on their websight they say they are hiring. Also anyone willing to give up sometime to e-mail me about life in Hong Kong with kids etc...

Thanks much!

No, you join Dragonair for the long term and in some cases need proof that you are no longer on your old airline's seniority.

Just a few questions if u guys would be kind enough to answer,
.. i was called up last oct for an interview with dragon, but only to be told when i replied to it later that the interview slots were all taken and that i would be given a new date at a later time, so SARS came along and everything went quite. Now that ive seen the add again, and i know they still have my file on kiv....so just wondering if type rating is essential on the for the 330/320. I had 330 ratings but its been like over 5 years since i last flew it.
2. Does ka have a seniority system, and how long is it to command?
Thanks a million!
P.s Wifey thinks its the picture that scared them off.

Don't rely on them remembering you! E-mail again to remind them of the fact that you missed out on interview last time.
Yes to seniority, it is closely followed. Command at the current expansion rate is in the order of 18 months if you have the hours.
Type ratings not necessarily required.
Good luck.

Can anyone give me any information on what life is actually like with Dragonair - roster patterns, pay etc.?? I'm currently with a UK IT mob - 3500 hours including over 2000 hours on A320/321/330. I've done a search on here, but there's not a lot of info. It looks to be a great company with a great future, and I must say I like the look of it.

Any info gratefully received!

Cheers all
