November 18th, at Farnborough, the CAA will be holding this year's Small Helicopter Safety Seminar.

See the latest GASIL (link here (http://www.caa.co.uk/publications/publicationdetails.asp?id=1038)) for details - there are a few slots left.

Anyone else planning on going ?

Yes, I'll be there with 221B.

As 'new' PPRuNers, how do we best spot those that already know each other?

I'll be wearing a discreet blue and gold PPRuNe badge, available from PPRuNe Pop / InFinRetirement for a tenner a pop.

It is a great shame that the CAA can't pick a more central spot , do they know that quite a few Small/lite heli type do exist North of Gatwick?

You're right - I once took an R22 to Wellesbourne Mountford once, to see HeliAir.

BTW, if anyone wants to PM IFR / PPRuNe Pop about the badges, click here (http://www.pprune.org/forums/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=67724).

Apparently its the same program and speakers as last year so I ll be giving it a miss - someone more deserving can attend instead!

I'm on the waiting list! But apparently there is every chance of getting to go!

Look forward to it.

Cheers
