Hi Guys,
I am currently doing my FAA CPL/IR on a second class medical. I plan on getting a JAA class one medical when I return to Dublin at Christmas. I will be starting a distance learning course for the JAA ATPLs in the New Year with a US approved school.
I want to make sure that there is no problem with where my medical is issued. Is it the case that the country that issues your licensing has to be the country that issues your medical? I have heard not but want to make sure.
So will I be okay if I get the class one in Dublin Ireland and expect to do the training in the US with the satellite school in the UK?
Thanks,
