HELP!!
Our ATC Training Section is currently updating the ATC simulator to make thing a bit more realistic for training controllers. In order to get the aircraft's speeds and movements as accurate as possible, I'm hoping some PPRuNers can help by providing information about a variety of types. Below is the list of types and performance criteria we need to input into the computer. To ensure the figuers are comparable for each type, can you base them on ISA at Sea Level at around 50% MTOW - typical sort of figures you'd work to on scheduled flying at a UK airfield, as that's the majority of our operation.
Types:
A319, A320, AS.332, AS.365, AS.332 Mark 2, ATR 42, ATR 72, ATP, B737-200, B737-300, B737-400, B737-500, B737-700, B737-800, B757-200, BAe 146-200, Beech 200, BN2P Islander, Bell 214, Cessnas 152, 172, 404, 421, DC-9-30, DHC-8-300, DHC-7, EMB-110, EMB-145, Fokker 100, FK.27, Fokker 50, Jaguar, Jetstreams 31, 32 and 41, MD-83, Nimrod, PA-18, PA-28, R22, SK-61, SK-76, Saab 340B, Shorts 330, Shorts 360, Tornado, EH101.
Performance Criteria :
Climb ft/sec, Descent ft/sec, Acceleration kts/sec, Deceleration kts/sec, Turn deg/sec, Taxi speed, Rotation speed, Manoeuvring speed, Cruise speed, Hold speed, Initial Approach speed, Intermediate Approach speed, Landing speed.
All these figures don't have to be 100% accurate, just a ballpark figure will be great. By getting a more accurate simulation, we can train to a better standard - better for all of us I would say. Either post or e-mail me - many thanks in advance.
