Hello to you wannabes and "pilot rejects",the last was the name I got from a trolley dolley at Air 2000 who by the way failed her driving test twice...

Anyways...should we start to exchange our skills for food?Could it work?or should we go as far as asking for lodging as well to get that first job in a european airline..

All inputs welcomed..

Id work for food....
But I would want extra chips!

Seriously though anyone willing to work for nothing is just taking away from the worth of the job.
I appreciate I am not qualified yet and people will say wait until you have not had a job flying for xxx time but I would still expect a wage for my labour especially if id paid £50000 to get there:8

the thing is that there are lots of pilots with experience, the companies know this and take advantage of the situation. I tell you once you´ve been out of work for some time, three year in my case, you start to understand people that work just to get type rated and to get those all important jet hours and work in a multi crew aircraft. I would work for free, but I still wouldn´t pay to fly.... I guess that is the next stage when people get desperate:*
