Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding info on private aircraft charters in Madagascar? I've heard that aside from Air Mad, there's also some small charter/private companies that fly around the island.
Thanks for any info and cheers.

The limestone's hell on your ropes. Take spares! :ok:

You using it for transport or new route reccies?

Try:

Malagasy Airlines
CESSNA 208
CESSNA 412B
PA23-250 AZTEC

MFS
PA 32-301 SARATOGA

AEROMARINE
Cessna 207A
Cessna 310R
Cessna 310R

NESTAIR
BeechKingAir 90E

Madagascar Air Service
Cessna 402B

Try the following link. Written in frog, but the addresses and phone numbers are the same! Although if you're from the east you should have no trouble.

K2, depends what you are looking for?

Brains a bit rusty but Aeromarine and Rockair are two names I seem to recall.

Hope it helps.........

Rockair is operating Antonov 2, and most of the pilots are russians. The paycheck sucks, stay away from this company....

Thanks for the advice and the info. I'm in the same shoes as about a thousand other low time pilots; building time with low hours. I'm looking into Madagascar with the hopes of possibly working over there, flying single or twin piston.
I've got ICAO and FAA licenses, french citizenship and an adventurous twitch. I've heard of Maun and may end up there but I'll first check out Madagascar.
Cheers again guys.
