Can anyone give me any information about doing the CPL training/flight test at oxford/Tyler. I am from the UK, based in the States, an FAA CFI with 750 total time and have already completed the UK ATP written exams. I have one problem, I don't have a class 1 medical, is it needed before doing the flight test? Please, please, please, I don't want any lectures on how I should have had the medical before starting the training. Any info will be very helpful as I can't seem to get anything from oxford.

Thanks

As far as I am aware, you do not need one to do the flight test, you just need one for licence issue, I would check with LASORS though...I only read the first 30 pages and couldn't see any mention of it.

The Whole LASORS for Licence Issue aka The Bible can be see here..

Hope this helps.
