Does anyone know if Northwest are still intending to introduce A330's to their fleet. Assuming yes, when do they arrive and what routes will they operate first.
I assume they are replacing DC10's.

Thanks OLNEY,
I'm on Amsterdam - Memphis in 10 days time. Do you know which flights from AMS are now regular A330 schedules? It's almost worth doing AMS - Detroit - Memphis to try out the A330.
I could switch flights if I knew the schedules.

Not off-hand I'm afraid.
I'm sure the Northwest website might reveal something otherwise a call to the UK reservations office might help.

Brand new aircraft . . . but with same old NW service. Worth a trip only if you don't mind being snarled at for eight hours.
Have to say, though, it's a pretty darn gorgeous looking aircraft, though!
According to the NW timetable two of the four daily Detroit - Amsterdam flights were changed over on 2 September. NW 48 replaced a DC10 and NW 54 replaced a 747. NW 40 remains a DC10 and NW 68 remains a 747-400.
the return A330 flights are NW 47 and NW 53.
