View Full Version : Marln Four Arrival (Syd/Jepp)
Anyone know why the MSA has a 'dashed circle' around it when all the others are a solid circle?
Is this something new, I have 'toothcombed' the Introduction section,Briefing Bulletins etc. and had no luck.
Thanks in Advance:ok:
Anyone want to take a guess?

MSA there comes within the Radar Lowest Safe and Radar Control/ATC coverage, from that direction- maritime(apart from the "visual" transit lanes around Syd/coastal)
MSA is otherwise 1000ft ontop of Cetre Point Tower.
Any use Hoss?
Thanks Chocks Away, just curious thats all:ok: .

Hoss, did a bit of searching that came up with nothing, including DAPS which has not changed. I reckon it's just a typo.
Jepps used the old Ballina NDB chart to draw the first GPS/NPA chart a couple of years ago. They forgot to use the whiteout and a mysterious arc appeared on the first print. That was part of the holding pattern on the old NDB approach.
