Anyone out there know how the work on this a/c is progressing. Last heard that one engine had been removed for refurb but apart from that the a/c is virtually ready to go.
Another question for our tech experts. When a/c such as this has been stored for 2+ years how or do they need to check the operation of the undercarriage. The last 707 to leave SEN earlier this year also had been stored for some years and after departure had to divert as they could get the undercarriage to retract.
