I noticed that there are 2 737-700 of VB parked opposite their terminal at Brisbane on Friday. Today they are still there. Any one know why, don't have enough pilots?. Seems a waste to have 2 aircraft not being used for 4 days.

Not employed by Virgin so won’t make a definitive comment on these two aircraft noted but with our operation we always keep several aircraft spare or in reserve incase of a service disruption. This maybe the case with them as well. Also was it the same aircraft? We tend to rotate our aircraft through reserve.

VBX and VBW both ex Braathens in Norway. Been in NZ getting a few changes done. ie HF installed and galley change. VBW had to be painted as it was white. VBX painted in Norway. Should be online next week.
