from Medical Class 2 to Class 1

I have already a JAA Class 2 medical, and now i want try to get a JAA Class 1 medical.
Do I have to do an initial test for class 1, or a renewal because i have already done a Class 2 initial:confused:

Hi AM3,

An initial and it will have to be done @ Gatwick.

There are some further tests that you have to do as well, rather than just meet the higher standards for say vision.

If he's in Holland I doubt he'd have to go to Gatwick. I dare say you'd have to do an initial class one. Where in Holland I wouldn't know. Contact your aviation authorities. :D
