Sat through the safety brief on a BA flight from the US to London yesterday, completely distracted by a typo on the life jacket worn by the hostie that said DEMONSRATION.

I mentioned it to her afterwards and received a sickly smile and an ultra polite "that's very interesting sir."

Shame she chose not to do anything, at the best it looked ridiculous and at the worst was distracting.

Thankyou for your pointing this out, we normally show a safety video on BA flights, was the spelling mistake on the life jacket on there,or on one that the crewmember was wearing.
Of course this mistake should have been noticed before,please let me know and I will get on to it.

A similar story on Cathay's safety video...on the English subtitle regarding the economy class lifejacket location - it reads "Ecomony". I have mentioned it to CX some moons ago but still hasn't been changed. Not a safety issue but it doesn't look professional.

I look out for it now everytime I fly CX.
