I have read with interest news and debates about various low fares airlines in Europe on this page.
I recently read an article about what I thought was a low fares airline, an outfit called openjet, however it is sort of a low fares portal.
I found it particularly good for flights from Belfast International, as It combined them with the cheapest connecting ones to the onward continental destination (i.e. Belfast via Newcastle to Alicante with easyJet, and returning Via Birmingham with Mytravellite).
My sister finds it equally as good for low fares "connections" from Scotland where she resides.
Apparently they do not have Ryanair anymore over an incident that was highlighted on an Irish Business Paper- see link below.

Anyway, thats my 2 cents- if you fancy giving it a whirl

www.openjet.com returned Ryanair flights for me this morning when I gave it a try, so they must have settled their little tiff.

I will be moving from North Devon to North Wales in mid-September. Once completed, the closest airports to me will be Liverpool and Manchester. For fun, I searched for LPL-BRS-LPL. The options were via NCE, BCN, etc, and, surprisingly, not via DUB! :D
