My brother has recently been posted to the States and lives near Washington DC. I spoke to him yesterday and he said he was on Virginia Beach, about 15 miles south of the airbase at Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday.

There were some jets whizzing around and then he heard the sound of prop-powered aircraft. He looked up and swears blind that he saw a Hurricane flying along off the coast, heading for Norfolk. It was in RAF colours.

There can't be that many Hurricanes in the States. Perhaps the Confederate Air Force has one or two.

Did he see a Hurricane? What's the story as to how it got there? Many thanks in advance.

PS - have also posted this in Questions.
