well imagine my surprise to find that whylst i was "out" of the office, all this is happening!! pax ops has always been the dream for mr hayles, but we will have to "suck it and see" as to its success!! im sure all of us will put in that little bit extra to try and make his dream take off! remember all you fat cats, its the little people who will make it work and believe it or not saying "thanks" sometimes makes us want to stay with you to see it happen! Am i being selfish asking for this???

Any news on where you intend to base this aircraft yet?? Heard that base could be LGW, but surely current slot restraints would cause a breeze-block!

Does PJ need any of his old drivers?

Maybe they should base a plane in Manchester and give Air Scandic a run for their money. From what I have heard they need it.
As a driver based at Manchester I would like to see some competion here, we need it.

Has anyone heard what Scandic's expansion plans are, heard they were getting B757's anyone got any inside info.

i fear you may be right as to the success of 'breeze'. as mentioned its all hands on deck, but in reality i dont think they have researched all corners of the world of pax operations. Its very different to cargo and unsched ops as we all know! a short time will be the telling on this one!!

apparently they're putting 850 pax on an an124 and the russian technicians will act as stewards
routes will be stansted to ulyanovsk
59 quid return flight only and 49 quid if they stay a week at the ulyanovsk beach resort hotel
roll up, tickets are selling fast

When are pax operations, due to commence?
It seems to have gone v. quite , is it still going ahead?

i thought, at least for the first year, it would operate ACMI, so surely it'll just go where the customer wants it, ie, if MON or BY or whatever, have had problems, they'll just lease it for a day or so to do something like a LGW-AGP-LGW, take 2 757 loads at once, so they can catch up on their schedule

I heard that the a/c will be based in EMA. No flying planned at this point....and IMHO there wont be a great deal if the a/c is to remain there! Did someone not tell the guys that this bird has seats in it - and therefore would attract more attention (commercially) than sat in the middle of what is essentially now known as a freghtport??
Give yourselves a chance chaps!!

EMA is not a tatty little regional airport or just cargo - the IT traffic in summer is huge!! Check out http://www.eastmidlandsairport.com/

Airlines/holiday companies include First Choice, Unijet, Airtours, Aspro, JMC.

Charter flights to Florida, Balearics, Spanish Costas, Greek islands, Turkey, Balkans, Cyprus, etc.
Scheduled flights BMI – 14 European destinations, Eastern – Aberdeen, Glasgow & Edinburgh.

You can smell the sun tan lotion as you drive up the M1!! And I bet that aircraft parking, etc, is cheaper than at LHR/LGW.....

Parking is cheap - thats why its there....but notice who exactly flies these routes....its all vertically intergrated capacity. I would be surprised to see the aircraft make 1 IT flight from EMA.

IS IT TRUE THAT £10MILLION IN CASH AND £15MILLION IN A/C PARTS HAS BEEN FOUND AND LINKED TO PJ MC GOLDRICK - JUST AS 200 OF HIS EX-STAFF WENT TO COURT TO FIGHT FOR THEIR MONEY !

watch out chaps,

word is that a couple of HLA's beloved aircrew are 'fuming' about current postings on this, and related topics and demanding to know who people are so keep a look out.

dont they get the fact this is an anonymous site?! ever heard of freedom of speech ? Guess not

PJ and the Maxwells, birds of the same dirty feathers. Do not trust this Breeze operation, and ensure you are paid in advance.

Hey SNOOPY 22, don't you just like open management like that?? Some people will never learn.

You all seem to be very cynical, why don't you all stop putting down Breeze.

From what I have heard it will be a pretty professional outfit.

Why don't you all wait and see how it all pans out before you start bitching about it.

Well, Norm, 2 of your previous posts on related topics……..

“a recently ex HLA bod”

“Knowing HLA they will probably fly for anyone anywhere. I can just imagine some of the dodgy places they will end up going to.”

You’ve sure changed your tune!!

why not stop knocking breeze and instead wish them good luck as any job is better than none .i should know I have had companys go down and know pay.

NORMAN NO MATES

DD,

The reason I have "changed my tune", is because when I first heard about this new venture, not much information was known.

I have sinced had a few chats with the bods at HLA, who have informed me of what they are planning to do. It sounds as if it may be quite a good little sidline for HLA.

I say good luck to them. So why not cut the guys some slack.
