Flybe

As a former / retired employee of Flybe, I am not surprised just how many experienced flight crew are leaving for pastures new, as there is huge opportunity for those, to move on to a more secure future. The redundancy programme which the current CEO carried out 12 months ago, seemed to please the investors, briefly, until the financial statement last month, resulting a huge drop in the share price. I wonder, with so many people leaving, how the Company will meet the flight crew requirements, over the next 12 months. I can only assume contract pilots, will be working for Flybe.

With Eurolot no longer a going concern I doubt there will be any shortage of applications from experienced Q400 pilots.

True. That had slipped my mind, but just looking at their website, they only had 8 Q400's, which may account for, perhaps 24 -30 pilots and would they wish to reliocate from Warsaw, when there are other more opportunities, out there.
