Gatwick Knowledge?
 

Does anyone work at Gatwick, or know of anyone that i can contact at Gatwick airport?

I'm looking for information on Slot allocation, how it is done? does any certain airline get priority? how do new airline company get allocated slots?
Also, i need to know some of the main airline that fly from Gatwick that code share? what are their main routes?
And lastly what methods does the airport use to balance capacity and demand for air travel during congestion?

am i right in thinking the answer to the later would be along the lines that in the Long haul terminal, departing passengers are refused access to the terminal until the arriving passengers have left the area and a sercurity check has been carried out?!

any help would be greatly apprieciated!
