IOM Spotter

Just reading back........."The CARRIER is "Jetstream Express" (Business Executive Airlines Ltd ie the company you make a contract with when you book a ticket)!! ..... The OPERATOR is Jetstream Executive Travel Ltd.

MUFC_fan 12th June 2007 21:28

Yep, can cetainly find out. Although some of the flights were cancelled, they should still be included as they were available for sale. If FR had 10 empty seats on say the DUB flight, they would still be included!

I will imclude both though!:ok:

jetstreamtechrecords 13th June 2007 12:47

Who's the carrier

Nav3 you've got this badly wrong. The carrier and the operator are the same (ie Jetstream Exec). Jetstream Express is simply what you described yourself as a ticket shop.

We have our FOI down today so I checked with him and although he's not CPG he reckon's your website is completely wrong & misleading. So, here's a heads up. The CARRIER is NOT Jetstream Express:= I'd change your website if I were you.

MUFC_fan 19th June 2007 16:39

After an extremely slow start, the BHD loads are starting to pick up. The ABZ less so, but are getting there.

Wednesday:
BLK-BHD 07:30-08:20 4 pax
BLK-BHD 16:55-17:45 4 pax
BHD-BLK 08:45-09:35 6 pax
BHD-BLK 18:10-19:00 2 pax

Thursday:
BLK-BHD 07:30-08:20 4 pax
BLK-BHD 16:55-17:45 5 pax
BHD-BLK 08:45-09:35 1 pax
BHD-BLK 18:10-19:00 2 pax

Friday:
BLK-BHD 07:30-08:20 2 pax
BLK-BHD 16:55-17:45 3 pax
BHD-BLK 08:45-09:35 3 pax
BHD-BLK 18:10-19:00 2 pax

Still quite low, but on the increase, with all flights having passengers onboard until early next month. Looks like the cancelled flights are a short splutter in the JXT engine.

ABZ not so great:

Wednesday:
BLK-ABZ 11:15-12:35 0 pax:(
ABZ-BLK 15:00-16:20 0 pax:(

Thursday:
BLK-ABZ 11:15-12:35 4 pax
ABZ-BLK 15:00-16:20 0 pax:(

Friday:
BLK-ABZ 11:15-12:35 3 pax
ABZ-BLK 15:00-16:20 6 pax

BLK-ABZ

Insider?

MUFC You seem to be well informed or are you playing with the website? I just went over the figures, you really are quite close on those numbers:D

Richard Taylor 19th June 2007 17:40

ABZ

I'm afraid JXT are finding the same amount of "demand" as City Star did a couple of years ago when they flew it. Surprised they thought there would be demand, especially for a daily M-F flight.

Only the Fri flight was busier then as well.

Seems on some routes the ABZ flying public are just not interested, especially when MAN is close by.

Hope it picks up & JXT give it time to, but I fear numbers may not get much better.

May falter on a lack of interest/demand/advertising.

MUFC_fan 19th June 2007 17:53

Getting them off of the website!:}

It is quite easy really, they are probably the only airline that will allow you to buy the whole plane!:}

flybyshark 19th June 2007 18:23

Thats Business for you!

Well, of course you can book the whole plane Sir. I bet there is even a discount :)

jetstreamtechrecords 21st June 2007 05:40

Ticket Provider

Fly By Shark, your mate red has gone quiet recently but though youve changed some bits on the website your t&c still claims Jetstream express is the carrier. It isn't, its a ticket provider or ticket shop as red called it. Only JET can be described as the carrier or operator. You're not only in breach of CAA regulations but you'll have a h*ll of a problem with pax if there's an incident. Who'se insurance will they claim on? Should be JET's but theyll claim against the "Carrier" J Express who I bet doesn't have any!!!!!:{ PS forget Aberdeen, go to Norwich or STN.:O

captainyonder 21st June 2007 10:59

Jetstreamtechrecords, maybe your concerns would be better addressed directly to Jetstream Executive/Express themselves as opposed to on an internet forum. You seem to have a rather anti JXT stance?

Surely it's time for JXT to realise they are missing out on a massive cash cow in a BLK-LON service. A twice daily BLK originating service into LTN would be a sure fire hit and extremely sustainable.

I think in the long term ABZ will work, the loads are all over the place at the moment but according to a friend they tend to be getting a very high number of on the day and night before bookings.

IOMspotter 21st June 2007 17:55

STN

I agree with tech records, there must be an opportunity into STN for Jetstream if ABZ is struggling. The pax numbers into STN are well proven.

flybyshark 21st June 2007 18:50

ABZ

Nothing wrong with ABZ pax figures, increasing at twice the rate that BHD has. But Stansted would be nice wouldnt it?

nav3 21st June 2007 22:33

Blk-stn

The question would be would the route sustain a sufficient yield as pax have been used to flying it for £1.99 !:{ Not sure £ 89 one way would appeal !!:hmm:

Biggest problem with avaition is everyone wants to fly first class around the world for £7.99 !

Mark Weights for a bus 30th June 2007 08:49

jetstream express

check out the website for some important (bad) news for blackpool

rufus.t.firefly 30th June 2007 09:10

Anybody know whats happened ????

Another downturn for Blackpool then , at this rate it will be welcoming GA
back with open arms , at the end of the day it doesn't pay to hack off the
small folk.

:ugh:

MUFC_fan 30th June 2007 18:34

NOw that JXT have ceased their three routes from BLK, do we think that it is goodnight? Or will they finally see that LTN will be a great route from the airport with maybe GLA or BOU aswell?

Cheers

MUFC_fan 30th June 2007 18:37

Thread already set up for this subject.

captainyonder 30th June 2007 19:20

Heard a rumour that Captain Green was none too happy with the investor who got cold feet before any of the routes had time to develop. SOU wasn't even due to launch until Monday! Also heard that Greeny is looking for new investors so we'll wait with baited breath, however I can't imagine this can do anything good for the carriers image.

MUFC_fan 30th June 2007 20:07

Unfortunately, the airline is now finished.

Not able to attract enough passengers at their prices.

A major shame.

Ballymoss 30th June 2007 21:31

none too happy with the investor

What exactly was JH's level of commitment to this venture? I doubt anyone can say for sure. Still, does seem early days to pull the plug:confused:
Can't see anyone holding their breath for a relaunch.............six weeks, and
this outfit now has as much credibility as Comed(y)!:ugh::ugh:
