Looks like VLM taking a RJ jet to put on the LCY-Luxembourg route from mid March. Return flight VG301/302.

Anybody know anymore info on this?

VLM and jets has been discussed in the LCY thread a couple of times. They announced in 2006 that they would lease a jet in 2007 for a trial on one route. Funny though that they appear to have chosen LUX on which Luxair is about to replace their jet (ER3) with a prop (DH4). As it is VLM's longest route from LCY and also one with competition, the choice makes some sense.

Isn`t the LUX flight the one that starts at Manchester on a couple of rotations a day the VG306 and 308

In the JER thread, it has been mentioned that from March 1 LCY-JER-LCY on the Fokker 50 will be operated by a MAN-originating aircraft. Maybe the jet is the explanation for that change.
