Eos 757 at STN??
Good Evening,
Just returned from Stansted and what did i find on the north side of the airfield? But the one and only Eos Boeing 757 sat there all closed up. Strange i thought...The flight usually departs back to JFK around 11am! I wonder if they have gone bust and STN have grounded it here! haha! |
That plane is always there. Its there as a standby incase the other plane has any problems.

Correction
Ah, seems as though they are not bust at all. I hear they have three aircraft now and they have changed the schedule. Arriving STN in the morning, must be shut up over there, then departs in the evening.

They have (gasp) changed their schedule. Imagine! A carrier changing a schedule!
Effective December 1, the carrier will move its 10:30 Stansted departure to 18:10, resulting in an arrival to JFK of 21:09 the same day. I wonder if they have gone bust and STN have grounded it here! haha! I have no connection to Eos and I still have some doubts about their business model. I hope they succeed, but if they fail I won't be laughing - they will deserve credit for having tried. I think your "haha!" is in poor taste... |
they have 3 aircraft in total
N401JS N403JS N926JS they keep one at stn in the event the i/b acft diverts or they get a severe tech delay. i would actually say some thought has gone into it if you think about it! |
Don’t think they are allowed to fly CAT 3 approaches yet as they are a frequent visitor to Luton on foggy days at Stansted.

My laugh was only light hearted. If indeed they did fail many PPRuNer's would say "told you so!".
|
The world would be a awful place if people didn't try new idea's, whilst I may have my doubt's I won't be saying "told you so" IF Eos don't make it!
