The BAA were excelling themselves yesterday - inbound passengers, including those with small babies, queuing in the driving sleet to have their pictures taken so that they could go through to Arrivals.
Only the Bus Driver showing some humanity by getting the frailer ones to the front of the queue.
BAA managers seems to be not only incompetent but also inhuman. More interested in putting pretty arches over the entrance to the airport than in running it properly.:yuk:

I might be wrong but if I remember correctly the positioning of the cameras is decided by the good people in SB not BAA. If not SB then I would imagine that the DfT has had a say.

South Pier (pier 1) has always been the weakest pier for pax handling at LGW, but its size and shape is limited by the need to have the maximum area available for stands.
