MyTravel live or die?
With the share price now trading over 30p and an agreement been sorted out with the bond holders, do you think MYT look set to survive?
Hope they live for ever. :ok: |
Surprised none of you noted the attached Financial Times article on MyTravel from last Friday. Second-half trading was poorer than forecast. The bondholders are being bribed with a higher interest rate. 7 per cent is not bad for your money these days !

I'm afraid it all looks very ominous.
7% to the bond holders smacks of desperation. And starting up a loco looks like another massive misjudgement. Does anyone at BHX or elsewhere know how MTL are doing? I hope they survive, but I'm glad I don't work for them or own shares! |
I was talking to a Holiday House wallah in McDonalds on Sandbrook Park on Friday afternoon and he was telling me that management are assuring them that everything's going to be OK and they're over the worst. He didn't seem so sure though, guess we'll have to wait and see.

LGS6753: If setting-up MyTravelLite was “another massive misjudgement” then why, ten months after starting, would the plc decide it was time to expand into MAN and LGW. And there’s no way the banks weren’t in on the decision, so they must also think it the correct way forward. Care to offer any justification of your opinion?
800,000 MyTravelLite customers can’t be wrong. |
