New Terminal at Madrid?

Is there a new terminal being built at Madrid? Is it a replacement for all the existing terminals or a supplement to the existing buildings?

Hi Hartington, there is a bit here:

And a bit of personal googling leads me to believe that the new terminal will not replace the existing terminal complex. What I still can't work out is how people will make their way between the two terminal areas. I know there will be roads (hence buses) and it may well be different air/landside but if you think T4 is a long way from central area at LHR this looks even further.

MAD seemed quite quiet when I was there... except for the queue for takeoff!!

I live out here in MAD and use the airport a couple of times a week. Itīs nice to live in a country that isnīt afraid to throw money at building infrastructure. If you go into the terminal and look at the plans for the next 10 years , it makes us LHR users want to cry.
