UK Government deportation flights to Rwanda
Does anyone know which airline will be operating these flights and from which airport?

Both have and are used for Albanian and Caribbean removals Deportation flights aren’t exactly new, however what is new to the UK is removals TO A THIRD COUNTRY. |

There are rather few candidates I suspect - Certain Portuguese/Maltese businesses I expect and probably either Gatwick or Stansted

Titan contract? They certainly have done well out of the Tories.
Possibly through they are pretty stretched out at the moment helping BA Gatwick cheapskate business, TUi ( both A320s) Jet2 whilst I doubt they and the administration would want the embarrassment of using G-GBNI whilst the other Neo is also operating some sort of VIP charters 😏 They have one 757 and one A321ceo available through they do have some work on hand most of the time The rest of the fleet are freighters and all have contracts with Lufthansa El-Al Virgin and the A333Pf with Geodis. |
Unless tthere is a shed load of money involved, why would anybody risk the possible disruption through legal challenges, protests etc and the potential for bad publicity. Not like there is a shortage of alternative work for white A320 man.

Use a RAF transport aircraft? I don't care how they get there just kick them out together with their 10,000 friends who have made the crossing this year from a safe country.

Not to stay off topic but the people being deported are from those that arrived illegally and the worst of that bunch. I don’t think this country is racist, you only have to visit an NHS hospital to see how crucial immigration is to our country. These are all people that went through the official channels though. I think people should be more careful with their use of the word racist, it’s not to be thrown around.

If you are a refugee, say from Afghanistan Iran or Syria wanting to reach the UK, perhaps to join relatives or friends, there is no legal way of getting here. We need these people with the 'get up and go' mindset.

Work visa routes, on the basis of family or marriage, study visa etc. There are options. There are usually also specific relocation schemes for certain conflicts or areas. By all means Uk immigration is a complete mess and the Home Office is terrible but there are legal avenues that can be used. Given the bad PR any airline will get operating this flight and the Gov’s desire to make it happen I would imagine it’s a healthy paying contract. Although don’t be surprised if state owned Rwandair operate it. |

Its off topic but there are plenty of legal ways. Asylum is designed to provide safety not get you to your dream location. If you live in Afghanistan, Iran or Syria and want to come to the UK you apply the same as if an American or Chinese person wanted to move to the UK.

Even the so called Dubbs route (after Lord Dubbs who arrived in the UK via Kindertransport) for unaccompanied minors was ignored and then closed off. The quickest way to pull the rug from under those running smuggling operations is to open an office in Calais where those with legitimate connections to the UK can apply to come here. |
