PIA network expansion
Pakistan International has restored several former destinations over the past few months and is to resume more plus adding some new ones:
NEW Sydney - from 24th April Gassim - sixth Saudi city, from 28th April Xi'an - second Chinese city, started earlier this year Kashgar - Cargo charter to the Chinese city with A320 "Preighter" started recently RESUMED Damascus - after over 20 years suspension Najaf - Iraqi city was served for two years till 2018 Mashhad - Iranian city was suspended around five years ago Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah - both UAE Emirates were suspended over fifteen years ago Salalah - Omani city was suspended in 2019 after a couple years operations Baku - suspended since over 20 years PLANNED Kunming, Shenzhen, Guangzhou - two new Cargo charter routes plus CAN suspended since early 1970s Hong Kong - suspended five years ago Bangkok - suspended since 2018 Bishkek - new Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent - two new cities in Uzbekistan plus TAS which has been suspended since over 18 years Maldives - suspended since 10 years or more Baghdad - suspended since 30 years Abha - new Saudi city Istanbul - suspended since 10 years |

Sydney didnt happen as Australia is reviewing the case though having granted permission.
PIA has now started Chengdu twice a week serivice, third destination in China. |
