Don't know for certain but I'm guessing the weather. The runway's 07/25 and Storm Arwen is doing her stuff at about 16/34 :)

Sounds about right  Trying again this evening. Winds forecast to be half what they were last night but still right across the runway.

I've noticed that Loganair flights LM834/5 seem to be appearing on the Arr/Dep. boards operating to and from Norwich.....It also appears as a timetable (without availability) on the LM website. Is this going to be a new route?. I remember a few years ago it was a route nominated for subsidy as a PSO and granted an operator....who was unable to take it up.

SWBKCB 29th Nov 2021 15:56

Aren't those positioning/charter flt nos - and Norwich are at St James tomorrow night

Good news.....a lot of capacity was lost with the EZY base closure and the demise of Thomas Cook.

Just had a look at the timetable as we've a few family out in Soller.

Return flight is dreadful - leaving Palma at 7am - eye wateringly early for me!

I agree but it is marginally later than the Ryanair flight out of Palma which operates Monday to Saturday next year. Time varies on Ryanair but always before 7am and on a Friday as early as 610am. Oh well there’s always Jet2.com.

You'll just have to pull an all-nighter as I believe the youngsters call it!

There seems to be a bit of confusion about the frequency of the EZY new Palma route. All the official announcements I have read say 5 weekly flights yet when you look up the flights on the EZY website it only shows 4 with no Tuesday flight showing.

The airport website says "up to five times a week" - when are you looking?

Jamesair1 24th Dec 2021 08:10

Easyjet timetable...May to October ...never shows more than 4 weekly flights...operating Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat. throughout the season.

Jamesair1 27th Dec 2021 08:29

RYANAIR

A few changes to the Summer 22 schedules.
DUBLIN .... increased to 2 x daily every day
GDANSK....increased from 2 x weekly to 3 x weekly
PALMA......reduced from daily to 6 x weekly

A net increase of 2 departures a week

SWBKCB 27th Dec 2021 11:16

Loganair operating Bergen twice weekly during the summer - Tues/Sat

TUI. See TUI are using the 737 Max aircraft currently based at NCL.

Jamesair1 29th Dec 2021 12:31

Now that the more, economical to operate, A321LR is entering US airline fleets ......might that make a NCL - NY route a more viable option than previously Pax nos always seemed to be reasonable (inc. Business)....obviously no idea about yields achieved.
