New Manchester based cargo carrier .

Matthew Moulding, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of THG, said:

“The recent disruption across the airline industry has brought huge challenges in the movement of goods across the globe. This led us to accelerate our trials for dedicated cargo planes to link together our own global manufacturing and distribution centres. These trials have proved a great success, resulting in today’s partnership with Singapore Airlines. The trials have also given us the confidence to supplement this partnership with the launch of two of own cargo planes, under the livery of “THG Air”.”

By the end of October 2020, THG will have two of its own cargo planes live, branded with the “THG Air” livery, operating out of Manchester Airport, where THG has its headquarters.
THG agrees partnership with Singapore Airlines to charter 100+ flights, and confirms plans to launch “THG Air”

Not sure if we're talking airline or 'virtual airline' here. The website looks more marketing and less substance, but I wait to be proved wrong.

Indeed... no aircraft type nor routes mentioned yet;;;

A quick bit of research shows they have warehouses / fulfillment centres in Berlin, Wroclaw, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shepherdsville (USA, near Louisville), as well as a mention of 'India' which I've not been able to nail down yet. Freighters mentioned by spokesman as 'likely A330-200' - can't help but wonder whether it will be a contracted operation perhaps branded in their own livery, similar to Magma and Air Atlanta.

Awful name. THG Air. Surely will be known as THuG Air. Don't people consider these things.

What does it really matter? Its carrying cargo.

The Hut Group are substantial in size. Substantial. The mainline carriers should be worried about this trend as it is going to cause them further issues when things do restart.

Massive presence in SE Asia. For some of us, The Hut was an on line retailer in the UK once. Huge new office and warehousing in the Manchester area.
