the statement released to the city from the board specifically states just over 2000 credit card details were hacked and 9 million travel plans.

email from the board to staff states no passport details taken.

Not that fast in reporting it to everyone, l read that they discovered the breach in January.

inOban 19th May 2020 21:33

They reported it to GCHQ and gave them time to research the hack, which apparently shows similarities to previous Chinese hacks. There's no sign that the stolen data has been used

I had a phishing email today from a company offering to claim compensation for my Easyjet flight, that was cancelled last Saturday.

inOban 20th May 2020 13:47

Some companies have an email address to which you should forward such emailst to help them trace the origin.

Sadly, Easyjet is not one, only advising customers to be alert to unsolicited emails

EasyJet to resume flights in June

LGS6753 21st May 2020 19:28

Very limited resumption, mainly domestic in UK and France.

True Blue 22nd May 2020 07:46

It doesn't apply to domestic

When are the result of today's shareholder meeting being announced ? Meeting began at 10 am but nobody allowed to be there in person and votes being cast in advance... so presumably the meeting will be quick

It’s concluded and the result should be issued to the stock exchange shortly.

Airbus Order Stays?

Looks like Stelios will have to pick the toys scattered around the pram all by himself.

Are easyJet holding off putting their new routes on sale for W20/21? MAN-ABZ still not bookable.

"Some good news ... we're back soon!"
Emails are being sent to customers with the following link.
Cleaning of aircraft daily, but it won't reassure passengers of their safety on flights which aren't the first of the day!

Sorry, link didn't work. Maybe somebody else will have more success. :uhoh:
