Sparkie320,

I suggest you check out this website :-

Airlinerlist.com

it shows the production list of all aircraft, if you download the Boeing 727 spreadsheet and search these registrations, you might find your answers!

The first place I would look is airliners.net; searching for the registration should bring you the MSN, then search the MSN.

I looked for G-BPND which gave me MSN 21021 and the most recent picture (it's since been scrapped)...

Sabre also leased in a 727 from South Africa's Comair.

Think G-BNNI never flew and was eventually carted of to Norway to become part of an office, video on the net of it being extracted from Southend airport is on google.

The aircraft operated bucket and spade flights and showed up on back-up flights, the 727 were an upgrade from the 732s they had as Sabre. Long time ago!

The 727 with the big cat logo was possibly the best 727 livery I have seen, think they only did the one. They also became Super 727 at some point after purchase from Dan Air.

Great call sign for Cougar - SPEEDCAT. I am sure some ex Dan-Air crews were employed by both Sabre and Cougar.

I think you mean Denmark - G-BNNI (the only one of the four not re-engined as a Super 27) is displayed at Stilling (SE of Aarhus), visible just to the south of the E45 motorway.
