Buzz
Hi guys,
I'm not totally sure if I have posted this in the right place. However here goes. I'm doing a project at college (travel and tourism) based on the airline Buzz which used to operate out of STN in the early 2000's with BAE 146's and Boeing 737-300's. They were sold to Ryanair from KLM I believe. What I am asking could anyone give me some assistance in finding the flight numbers they used for all of there routes throughout Europe? I have a basic idea of where to look but so far I'm having no luck! Seems like this once lively airline has been forgotten about. |
Buzz Flight Numbers
Buzz used flight numbers with a UK prefix followed by four digits in the 22xx to 26xx range.

Not totally forgotten either. I was shocked, the other day, to see an advert for them on a billboard on one of the Liverpool Street station platforms still!
My wife and I remember them very fondly. They were great. |
I have found a thread from 2011 that has information on buzz, hope this helps :)

buzz
In addition to the destinations mentioned on the other thread, another one was Clermont-Ferrand. At least I recall flying there with Ryanair on one of the ex continental 737s so I presume it must have been a buzz route. RYR didn't last long there because CFE wanted to charge proper landing charges.

Flew with them on a couple of trips. UK 2580 Stansted-Vienna on 2/4/2001 and return on UK2585 on 04/4/2001. Also UK2452 Stansted-La Rochelle on 17/9/2002 and return on UK2453 on 19/9/2002. All BAe 146-300s and very good too.

I did not fly on Buzz but a couple of sectors on their former existence - but One: AirUK - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Did not travel on any of the lines that merged to form Air UK. |
