Fly Torair

A quick warning that the man in charge of all those loosing their money from the collape of XL Airways and Kiss Flights is at it again......PHIL WYATT!!! How does he get away with it? He will steal your money, run his airline into the ground, and sob on telly saying how sorry he is! You have been warned. Happy flighting.

niknak 23rd Feb 2011 19:05

No one is forcing anyone to work for him.

You make your own luck in this life - take it or leave it, but please don't whinge about it.

BUGS/BEARINGS/BOXES 23rd Feb 2011 19:11

qwertyuiop 23rd Feb 2011 19:58

before we destroy another airline lets support people in this industry trying to bring britain out of a recession and providing jobs for thousands of people. i have a flight booked with torair this summer and it was far cheaper than easy jet. why should the history of a person effect future business when posts like this are more likely to do more damage. think before you rant.

LGS6753 6th Mar 2011 18:29

One of the problems with predecessor airlines was that they were too cheap - in other words taking money, but not enough to provide the service.

Another bankruptcy will do nothing to take Britain out of recession - it will cost the industry, the passengers and the staff of the failed business very dear.

If you want to do your bit and 'help Britain out of recession' - holiday at home, or if going abroad, at least travel with a British-registered and British-crewed carrier that is charging realistic fares.

/End of thoughtful rant/

love22fly 6th Mar 2011 18:43

If we were all to fly with british carriers with british crews then we wouldn't get anywhere can you mention any airline apart from the 2 bigboys that dont charge ridiculous fees for the rich bankers that destroyed our country in the first place. if we want to be able to provide holidays for everyone and every class then we have to except and respect those who are whilling to provide that service no matter where they are from and thier history. being bitter and un-informed about rumours is no solution.

Hotel Tango 6th Mar 2011 18:59

love22fly are you for real? Ah, I see now, 1st post. I guess you must be Wyatt himself.

love22fly 6th Mar 2011 19:11

no not him i'm afraid! your obviously another ranter! is it too hard to beleive that there is someone positive in this world and we're not all uptight and serial moaners. please forgive my positivity i didnt mean to offend anyone. i just booked flights with torair and dont understand why i have found all of the comments previous to this. i think its a crazy world we live in. we'll all moan one day when we are walking to our holidays.

compton3bravo 6th Mar 2011 19:34

I can tell you Love22fly why people are annoyed because the Wyatt's of this world have left a trail of bad debts, people losing jobs, etc etc for a number of years and a lot of people are still owed a lot of money. That is why people are so upset and if you have booked a flight with Torair all I can say is good luck pal!

I totalally agree with Hotel Tango

You obviously have no idea the Heartbreak and Upset this Man Wyatt has caused in the past

If you had read all the previous forums concerning this Man you would not go anywhere near this Man let alone give him your money

As you are new to these forums you will notice all the rouges keep coming back again and again all with the same names

They bring Misery and heartbreak to lots of people

Have a Nice Flight if you get Airbourne

love22fly 6th Mar 2011 20:05

well... this conversation is well too deep for me you obviously all need therapy. ive booked my flight on my credit card so im protected :) ill post a comment when ive returned.

73addict 6th Mar 2011 20:41

Let us all take a breath for a minute and discuss the reality.

Flying with Torair you will, probably, be fine as long as you are planning a holiday before Sept, Oct! See previous form, XL sank 12 Sept and Viking AB/UK 19 Oct.
You will, however, be flying with crews that are underpaid, overworked, and only there as there is nowhere else to go!
The onboard service will be poor. Not due to crew, for the most part, but the food prices comfort etc. YOU BUY CHEAP YOU GET CHEAP!!!
Don't expect any issues you have to be listened to on any questionnaire or through a phone call!

By all means fly with them but remember you choose to do so at your own risk! You may pay the price of a lost holiday or money you cannot afford to lose. ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY A THIRD TIME................!

love22fly are you seriously saying that there are no airlines who charge cheap fees!!! You are ill informed if you think that airlines are for certain people. A holiday is also about a package and the cheapest flight does not always end up with the cheapest holiday. Also depends where in the World you want to go, for how long and at what time of year.

Here are a few facts for you: BA have many European flights which are cheaper than Easy and the charters. Fact! Virgin have great offers to the US/Carib again some cheaper than the Charters. Fact! Holiday is about research to find the best deals at the right time this does not mean choosing a company because of hear say but to actually do some leg work. As a frequent traveller I have found some exceptional deals with most carriers.

Back to this outfit, I will never fly on an airline run by PW and co because I have a firm grasp on my morals and will not contribute to his bank balance increasing and his employees being left high and dry and with nothing.

Karma has a way of working things out.

True Blue 6th Mar 2011 20:48

maybe love22fly should refer to the business section of the sunday times today, another article, if he chooses to not believe what has been posted here.

Has anyone else noticed a trend? positive comments about cowboy airlines/travel companies by new members?

Welcome back Wyatt clan! i think the user name ki55xla is still available to match your car plates.

And i fully agree with 73addict and i've said it before, If you are flying before Sept you should be fine despite some major delays i'm sure.

G-VCED 7th Mar 2011 11:39

Notice if you type "Torair" into google, pprune is in the top 10.

Dropline 7th Mar 2011 14:09

love22fly

When are you due to travel? I'm sure we'd all be keen to hear about your experience of flying Torair when you return. At least you know what aircraft you'll be flying on, as according to their website, they've just got the one 737-400. Best of British!

sam1993 7th Mar 2011 14:17

Dropline,

And it also says that the fleet will increase by 2 737-300s beofre the summer!

LGS6753 7th Mar 2011 16:51

"Fly with British-registered airlines employing British-based crew"

There's plenty of choice -

Thomson
Thomas Cook
EasyJet
British Airways
Monarch
FlyBe
Virgin Atlantic
British Midland

Between them that little lot will get you virtually anywhere.
In general, on time, using properly-maintained aircraft, operated legally, according to well drafted procedures and for a price most can afford.

Sorry, that was me just being positive:ok:
