Thai/Tiger link up - will this be the next move for BA/Iberia ?

Thai Tiger set to pounce on budget carriers

Thai Airways International PCL and Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd announced today that they will form a new low-fare airline. Thai Airways will hold 51% in the new airline, called Thai Tiger, while Tiger Airways will hold the rest, the two carriers said in a statement to Singapore Exchange. Based in Bangkok, Thai Tiger will operate international and domestic flights, offering short-haul, point-to-point services within a five-hour flying radius. The new airline is expected to start operations in the first quarter of 2011.

The above is from the BA intranet today - what's the betting that in the nearish future we could change the airline names to BA and iberia ? Maybe a strange thing to put on the intranet news section otherwise!
