Jet Airways LHR-LHR 13April 2009 ???

Just wanted to know why the JA121 went back to London.

My girlfriend was on the flight, she spent the night in London and she went off to DEL the next day ok.

Both she and I have checked the internet and can't find the story.

It's not even on this site, so I joined to find out the reason.

Anyone know the reason ?

There is a return to start point back to Heathrow on average a couple of times a week, they are not newsworthy. Sort out what the issue was and start again. It's normally the easiest way to do it, they have all their resources there, and gives you the least delay.

If your girlfriend was on the flight you know why it returned. As to why the incident happened ,that's another story.

flightstats.com shows it departed on time, but no arrival details in Delhi, looks like canx flight.

Shows B777, which is strange, thought they use A330/340 on London route.

Was it a Bus or Boeing !
