Airport activity
 

A group of us decided to track and map airborne flights to and from major airports... I was wondering what additional information would be interesting to add - we have the airports, the arrival time, airport code - we sometimes can have the aircraft type, the location is carefully worked out and tracked on the map... We are a company but this is not a commercial venture, more a way of showing what the technology can do and how it would be more interesting to actually see the location of a flight on a map rather than the arrival time on a list at the airport (or have both).

Would be happy to hear from anyone with any bright ideas to make the whole system more attractive. You can see London Heathrow on www.lhr.wwatc.com
