Anybody have any idea of Thomson's schedule for Summer 2014 please for SFB/CUN? Read they were putting 767/787 on the route but any clue which flights each will do?

Burnie5204 18th Jul 2013 18:56

As I understand it the 767 was to operate until the first 787 was delivered, which it now has.

How this has changed since the tech issues the other week I dont know

New Jet2.com route for 2014

New route to Paris-CDG, 4x weekly from April 2014.

There is now up to 11 daily departures in summer 2014.

I wonder how this will effect Flybe? My guess is probably not too much as I can't see the new Jet2 service being as attractive to business travel.

I see the CDG flights fit in before PRG fights, I wonder why their was around a 3 hr gap in the flight sch.also see today we have a extra FHY flight must be for the high season services to give extra I.T. cover.regardsStuart

Correct Stuart should position in from Glasgow around 09:00

jtb707 30th Jul 2013 16:49

It's good to see the 787 operating from EMA but it's not as impressive as the DC3 parked by the old BMA T2 hanger. We will see a good few 787's operating from EMA in the future, but, I fear, there will not be many more chances to see DC3's here.

TCAS ALERT.

Re EMA and Summer 2014.. TOM Brochure shows it reverts to a 767 from start to mid summer 2014. Then whole long haul programme is a 787 as it is from every long haul base in the UK including BHX.

Bad news for Bristol, as its completely dropped from their long haul programme and EDI gets a one off 787 flight.

You couldn't be more right in my opinion. But I wouldn't mind betting that when the 787 is in it's declining years, there'll still be a DC3 flying somewhere!

The TOM axing of BRS long haul for summer 2014 was announced earlier this year.

TOM update 2014

With the update on 25 July from the Thomson flights 2014 at EMA , EMA-NAP now operates FRI and MON which will be a new flight on MON, to make use of a Thomson aircraft on the NAP flight the CFU on MON now shows TBA, may be a W flight from a other airport.Other change is DLM flights the SUN flight to DLM now goes to Bodrum with a Thomson aircraft so no need for a FHY aircraft, this may be due to JET2 making DLM for 2014 from 2 flights to 4 flights.Their are many changes at BHX but I will let Olton Pete do the changes.regardsStuart

From Airline Route - Worldwide Airline Route Updates:

bmi Regional from 02SEP13 is cancelling East Midlands – Frankfurt operation, where it currently operates 6 times a week on board Embraer ERJ135 aircraft. Existing schedule until 01SEP13 as follows.

BM1263 EMA1150 – 1435FRA ER3 x6
BM1264 FRA1520 – 1600EMA ER3 x6

virginblue 7th Aug 2013 15:20

So what will the aircraft be doing then? Sitting idle on the ground in-between the Brussels flights? bmi have tried CGN before to keep the aircraft busy during noon-time, but without success as well.

FLYBE Winter 2013/4

Flybe

Amsterdam increases to double daily in the week for winter and Paris is reduced to daily.

Both GDS and the flybe site shows the 175 on the CDG in February which at present would be difficult as the AMS and JER are still DH8D's.

BHD still showing as 4 x DH8D no doubt due to BHD losing a couple of 195's.
