Which Airport is this ?
Hi
See attached a picture of a Control Tower in one of the leading airports in the world, need to know the name ! There is a competition that one needs to get a correct answer. Thanks http://anon.doubleclick.edgesuite.ne...rportweek5.jpg |
I think the idea of these forums is in the title: PROFESSIONAL PILOT Rumour Network
Best try a spotters forum and run for cover. |
Yeh I agree with you, but if you look in most the forums its full of people who sit at the end of a run way and listen into the flight deck and atc, who actually have very little true understanding of how an airline/airport works.
p.s. Mods please make a private Ryanair forum for its staff asap:) |
Looks like 2 towers to me, the one at the back still under construction. I remember there being a youtube video of the demolishion of the old one, cant remember where but US i think??

The above is true, but then it also has sections for cabin crew, engineers, spectators and poor souls like me who work in freight. Maybe its time to realise that its more than a professional pilots site and work around that or am I opening a whole can of worms there. |
And there is also a forum on PP specifically for enthusiasts (Spectators' Balcony (Spotter's Corner)), so the moderators at least don't expect every post to be from a "professional pilot"....

BTW, it's Chicago O'Hare I think...

I think you will find its KATL
Sorry folks im one of those sad dollys down the back with the SLF what is it tea or coffee mamm. In my spare time I like to dress up in girly clothes and sit in hatton cross car park with my scanner impersonating those macho men in charge of there magnificent flying machines. No wonder i get some strange looks when im on the flt deck over russia and wondering which little siberian atc centre we are talking too. Now what was the reg of my DEL a/c yesterday again :} |
You're both wrong I'm afraid.....
...it's KMIA. The photo was taken pre 2002 as the ground movement radar is still in position on the old (lower) tower. (Apologies to the Moderators) |
