Air Wales

Can anyone tell me what has happened to Air Wales? I also spotted an Air Wales ATR ATR-42-300 at London Stansted (STN) on Sunday, can anyone tell why that was?

On a final note does anyone know who will be taking on Air Wales aircraft?

Hmm, if only there were a "search" function in PPRUNE. Oh yes, I remember, there is. :ugh:

VFR Transit: much detail in the previous PPRUNE thread on Air Wales. I think the last post there may answer the question about what an ex-Air Wales aircraft was doing at STN, but if not, I suggest you ask in the Spotters Corner forum.

Thanks for the gratuitous A.net hyperlink, though. You know, I'd always wondered what ATR42s looked like... ;)

The ATR42 G-CDFF operates for Aurigny on the GCI-STN route amongst others,in full AWW colours & carries "Operated By Aurigny" stickers on the fuselage.

The whole Air Wales thing has been covered elsewhere on this site, suggest you do a search

The "Search" function of this website is quite operational. In this particular case one actually had to turn to page two of the search results to find their goal.....

Folks, please perform your own due diligence rather than creating another unnecessary thread for the moderators to deal with.
