CYM,

What has that really got to do with BRS???

cym 5th Dec 2006 16:21

Flybe

There have been a number of comments in the thread about the impact of the Flybe / BACON merger on BRS.

Thought the fact the they are actively moving into CWL whilst not acknowledging their plans to continue at BRS would be of interest..........

yes, we had that at Brs about three years ago, massive fanfare anouncement about Fly Be expanding their operations and saying within four years they would be operating 16 routes from here. at the time they were operating Jer,Bfs H,. Of the four emidiate routes they were going to start, they only started two i believe ( - no doubt someone will put me right) Borduax and Bergerac. in two of the other routes, there was so much interest by the public and nothing happening, Easy jet dived in and are still running them. However i must admit Cwl is further away from Ext and will spread there operation and make more sense. In addition they will have no competition over there, and after all thats what they like (or rather dont like) if you dont fly with us, then you dont fly !!!!
:ok:
