OL to go in 2008
Sunday Times: I’m going for good, O’Leary tells Ryanair
MICHAEL O’LEARY, one of Europe’s best-known business figures and the man who brought low-cost travel to millions of travellers, has set 2008 as his own departure date from the company that has revolutionised the airline industry. It had been widely expected that O’Leary would “move upstairs” to take the role of non-executive chairman following his eventual retirement, but he has ruled this out......... |
Wow. The new guy is gonna walk in to a lot of new Boeings! Any ideas who it may be?
|
Hannibal Lecter.......? Oh no - that could give rostering a whole new set of problems. "UhOh Mike jus ate my standby!" :}
|
No, no,they are going to go for someone nastier, not nicer.
|
Perhaps the Willie Walsh replacement if the move to T5 doesn't go to plan :uhoh:
Good rumour to start! You heard it here first :} |
My guess would be one of the senior management, either his deputy (a certain gentlemen from Co.Cork), who would be an excellent choice as far as I'm concerned as he is far more serious, realistic and approachable or one of the others i.e. Bilko, etc.
Alternatively, they might look outside and maybe even tempt Willie Walsh back to the Emerald Isle (rumour has it he's been in the running before). |
I heard its going to be Roy Keane!
|
I wanted to post:
YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!! Two of my pet hates First Keane, now O'Leary! Oh what a good week! A great blow for arrogance everywhere! Ding Dong the witch is dead! the wicked witch is dead! But that'd make me a blurry arrogant Bakstard ;) |
Isn't that when Bliar's going to be looking for a new job?
|
Oh Yes, that`s when he takes over makes the airline full service and brings Jamie Oliver to do they catering
