Complimentary Inflight Services - Emirates/Cathay
 

Can someone confirm that these airlines still offer complimentary food & drink services, and have no plans for changing this in the near future?

Is there an internet site which might have this data for all airlines, much the same as those which profess to keep "leg-room" data?

Emirates certainly do and very good it is too.

Emirates certainly do with excellent food and a "digestive" (no not the biscuit for the shell suits) at the end of the service but the cabin crew were crap on the four EK i've done.

On sites such as this one, arguments about catering on airlines like CX and EK tend to revolve around what - not whether - they're serving. :D

about a year ago i was on a flight from Tokyo to Hong Kong, on Cathay...

the thing i remember the most was that all alcoholic drinks are free (including liquor!) and i was sitting in coach... i just flew from Atlanta to Tokyo on delta and everything is US$4 per cup...

difference, huh?

Thanks alangirvan, not sure I wanted to see what the meals looked like, only to find out if they were still free. Having said that, amazed that people take pictures of their meals!:sad:

Maybe you were unlucky but I am not long back from travelling four sectors in economy with Emirates.

The crew were very professional and pleasant, some of the best longhaul flights I have had in a long time.

The only gripe I have was that the seats weren't the comfiest I have been in.
