EU Regulations 17th FEB 2005 (No 261/2004 )
 

I'm studying Airline and Airport Management in High Wycombe and I've been a sad bod and taken on an extra module in Ground Handling.
In yesterdays Seminar on Ground Handling, we were discussing the EU Regulation that came into effect on 17th Feb 2005. I was working that day and I know that since then pax have become a lot more demanding upon airlines with regard to compensation.
In the seminar we had a "role play" of 5 people representing airlines, 5 people representing the consumers and a panel of 4 judges (1 of which was me!! :D )
It was highly entertaining lesson with everyone really getting into it.

What do you think of this new regulation and its effect on aviation??!! :ugh:
