Airline Tax Decoding
A little help required from someone with ticketing knowledge...
Can anyone help decode these taxes. I've been seeing them printed on tickets i've issued but i can't find anywhere what they mean..!? *UB *GB and anymore that any one knows, please post...! :ok: Thank you :) |
Having recently worked in a call centre for an airline there are so many tax codes! but those two that you have mentioned I think relate to security and/or passenger handling in the UK. Don't quote me on it though!:O It definitely won't be a fuel surcharge as that code is YQ.
Hope that helps a little:ok: |
UB = Passenger Service Charge (departure) - International - United Kingdom
I am not aware of any tax code 'GB', but I suspect this is the ISO Country Code (GB = United Kingdom) but not sure without seeeing the actual string/ticket Hope that helps TimS |
