There's lots of recruiting taking place at the moment so the news can't be as bad as you fear Ghengis !

Maybe a merge with mainline is on the cards ? One can live in hope :rolleyes:

What i hear its not all bad news, no real details yet but i believe a fairly long Dash 8 Lease extension seems to have been agreed.

And which name will they have picked?

Three year renewal on the Dash8s and their APUs are to be reactivated.

Are BACX buying the Swiss options on the EMB170/195?

Just heard on our local TV news, BBC North West, that Blackpool Airport is about to announce the arrival of a major UK airline which is to open a new hub at the airport..........the plot thickens.........

Could a certain Mr Crossland be making a comeback to the delight of his previous shareholders?

Jet 2 may be setting up a base their but also have heard easyjet considering Blackpool as cant get into Manchester!

JET2 are setting up at BLK with a single 733, to start flights to belfast, palma and murcia. One thinks they should have concentrated on increasing there base destinations, never the less it good news for Blackpool, now theyve got JET2 and Monarch all within a few months, great news

So, getting back to the topic of this thread, was there A N OTHER great announcement yesterday on the future (mis)direction of CX?:confused:

Why would EJ consider Blackpool when they already have a large pressence at Liverpool?

Yet another BACX post ..... yawn - shows that the interest is fading as it veered off rapidly onto talking about Blackpool!!!
