D.328 in BA livery ??

Saw a D.328 in BA colours at Glasgow last two days parked on apron J opposite ATC. OY- reg [OY- NSC??]

Anybody got any information on it?

Sounds like a Sun Air (Denmark) machine. I believe they are a BA franchise carrier or something?

Meeb 21st Aug 2005 08:48

Sun Air fly to Manchester every day with the 328 in BA colours.

Heard that Loganair are getting a 328 though...

Is the DO328/328JET production line still going?

The City Star ones at ABZ look smart & I would have thought the likes of Eastern could look at it for some of their routes to replace JE32/41.

Agree the one at GLA sounds like it belongs to Sun-Air.

The Dornier production line not currently running. It keeps changing hands, currently American owned. There is a possibility of restarting.

Further, this list suggests there are 52 of them in storage,so production not likely!

Logibear have just got 4 more Saab 340s - another due anytime -so I doubt if D.328 are on the menu are part of their fleet.

Maybe, just maybe a wet lease when the Denim F.50 wet lease ends??
:ok:

Think its the sun air machine that Rangers football club use for trips to Dundee and Aberdeen these days.....judging by recent results (yesterday excluded) they should go back to the coach!!

Rangers used Scotairways recently to get to Aberdeen, not Sun Air.

This was seen @EDI

GrahamK 22nd Aug 2005 07:37

Whats EDI got to do with a Do328 at Glasgow?

:hmm:

It's the alternate for Glasgow?:=

Went out yesterday to Roskilde, looked like a party of business people on board

I really don't understand all this animosity toward Joe Curry. I don't personally know the man,but nobody deserves all the flak that he gets. He has a great interest in all things Edinburgh, but SO WHAT,there are many with the Glasgow bias too. Cut the man some slack,he takes a great photo!

It's 'historical', don't dare post anything EDI if it demeans an imagined GLA thread.?

I'm still trying to work our what a Do 328
has in common with GLA..EDI is awash with them.

Has it occurred to you that folk might like to see a pic?

Here

There there children! I am interested in ANY airport's traffic, but I hate reading all this "my airport's better than your airport" stuff.

It is a great pic Joe,did you take it at Glasgow? (Sorry!)

PPRuNe Pop 23rd Aug 2005 09:16

Suggest you cool it. Snipes, jibes and veiled abuse are not acceptable but...........................what is the problem. A verbal EDI-GLA match. Pathetic!

Back on topic please or the thread goes.
