Where do Atlantic use their Tu-204s?
Just noticed on the CAA site that Atlantic have applied to extend their lease of these aircraft,SU-EAG/J for another year, pending certification, and possibly ACQUIRING some for their fleet permanently.
I'd just like to know on what services do they use them? |
They operate the TNT contract from Lieage in Belgium.
Liege to where exactly?
They have been seen at Humberside on a regular basis.

An evening flight Keflavik - Humberside seems to be a regular service.
I thought the ones at Humberside belonged to Aviasplaugna/Air Rep, an Lithuanian company who are operating them on behalf of Icelandair
You may well be right airhumberside. It is a bit difficult picking up an aircraft's colour scheme on radar :8 It certainly uses a strange callsign but with so much sub leasing going on it is not always evident who is flying what service nowadays.

Liege to somewhere in Scandinavia, possibly to Copenhagen.
Atlantic are interested in aquiring an (possibly more) example & putting it on the UK register Fried Chicken |

They do fly as correctly stated above for TNT. Generally they ARE used on routes to Scandiavia.
Sounds more like cheap labour rather than 'evaluating' them for the uk register.
Well, their intention is stated here in the lease extension application(on page 2)---
